HEALTH INSURANCE

Every full-time student must have medical insurance for the student and all family members. Students must certify that they have coverage to complete financial registration. If the student cannot complete financial registration (due to lack of insurance), but receives insurance during the first two weeks of the semester, a late registration fee will be charged when the student registers. Because it often takes more than six weeks to obtain proof of coverage, students should make arrangements accordingly. It is vital that Student Life be informed promptly of any serious illness, accident, or other emergency. Missouri Baptist and St. John’s Mercy hospitals provide readily accessible medical assistance in their emergency rooms and clinics.
